Pool Openings

  • Gas Heaters may require additional service by a gas company at an extra charge.

    Unfortunately vacuuming the pool is not part of our opening service.

    For a partial opening, the cover must be free of water and debris or a full opening will be charged.

    Your Salt System will not be turned on. It requires water temperature of 60 Deg's F or 16C, and the salt level will need adjustment. Please bring a sample to the store and we will gladly help.

    Vinyl Lock In Covers MUST be stored in water over the summer months. DO NOT store these covers dry. They Shrink!

    Please leave the gate unlocked and all pool accessories out for the crew.

    We need access to a garden hose and the water turned on from inside the house. Please ensure power to the pump has been turned on (at the breaker) as well!

    Please plan ahead. If the pool is needed for a party or event, allow 1-2 weeks to get the pool ready!! If unsure book early.

    If your equipment is not in working order and needs additional service, repair, or replacement, we will contact you to authorize (No Hidden Charges). This will be treated as a separate issue and be completed by a separate crew at an additional charge. Any minor items, As Always! are included in the opening.

Types Of Openings

Full Opening

  • Removing water & debris from cover
  • Removing & cleaning cover and waterbags
  • Reinstalling all pool fittings, accessories and deck equipment
  • Cleaning waterline, coping & chrome
  • Cleaning winter debris from deck
  • De-winterizing equipment
  • Testing equipment & starting circulation (depending on water level, this may be done the next working day)
  • Super-Chlorinating your pool
  • NOTE: Additional covers may incur an extra charge

Partial / Safety Cover Opening

  • Same as Full Opening EXCEPT customer removes all water and debris from cover, leaving it totally empty and ready for removal by our crew.

Pool Start-Up

  • Customer performs complete opening EXCEPT our crew installs deck equipment, de-winterizes equipment, starts & tests the system.

    • 

Weekly Maintenance: $50 per week ( plus chemicals )

  • Two Visits per Week
  • Vacuum Pool once per week
  • Brush and Skim pool and sweep deck.
  • Empty baskets and backwash as required.
  • Test and adjust chemicals ( chemicals not included )
  • Inspect Equipment.
