Awards for Outstanding Pool Builds & Renovation

The pools below were awarded by the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada, the industry’s leading association for standards of quality and professionalism.

2018 Design & Construction Award – Silver

This project involved the removal of existing decking and old fiberglass pool walls, installation of new steel panels and Roman step, installation of new coping stones and stone deck with a concrete deck base, re-plumb of the entire pool and re-location of equipment, installation of LED lighting and new equipment, and installation of automation including chemical management system. This project was challenging due to the existing fibreglass walls which were degrading. The entire area was excavated and re-graded and new custom steel panels installed.

2017 Design & Construction Award – Bronze

This award winning outdoor vinyl pool project with a water feature involved the removal of existing decking including a wooden deck, installation of Armourstone retention, installation of new coping stones and stone deck with a concrete deck base, the building of a new wooden deck leading from house with composite and cedar, and placement of surrounding softscaping. The pool project was particularly challenging as the property was bordered by roads on 3 sides. This needed larger setback requirements and designing a pool that would fit while maximizing entertaining space. An arborist was retained to protect existing trees. The pool is fully automated and has LED lighting as well as energy efficient equipment.
